Mildred Minayo
Critical Care Nurse & Healthcare Visionary
With over a decade of hands-on experience in critical care nursing, Mildred Minayo has always had a deep, unwavering commitment to patient care and well-being. Her journey into the world of home care was born out of her firsthand experience working with patients in high-stress, life-threatening situations, where she witnessed the significant gaps in continuity of care once patients were discharged from hospitals.
Having worked as a critical care nurse for more than 10 years, Mildred Minayo was at the forefront of medical treatment, dealing with patients in critical conditions, from post-surgical recovery to life support. She recognized that the transition from hospital to home was a vulnerable time for patients, particularly those with chronic conditions or recovering from major surgeries.
Her experience in ICU made her acutely aware of how overwhelming it can be for families to manage complex care needs at home, often without the necessary resources or expertise. Driven by a desire to bridge this gap and provide a higher standard of care, Mildred Minayo founded Orem Home Care. She envisioned a service that would offer compassionate, professional, and expert care in the comfort of patients' homes, ensuring they not only recover but thrive post-discharge.
